INE presents a special edition to celebrate 20 years of INE, in which we look back as well as forward.
20 years ago our first initiatives focused on a dedicated action programme for inland waterway transport and more inland waterways in TEN-T. Today our work is centered on creating fit-for-future infrastructure covering the physical, digital and green energy network. Founded by 5 members in 2000, INE today counts 17 members from 14 countries which shows the increasing interest in inland waterways across Europe.
